Born 18 September 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, United States.

Raised by his Single mom Sonya Carson.

And had a Elder brother Curtis Carson.

Back then in his school days, years ago. Things were really though for his mom cattery for her children (Curtis and Been Carson) education.

And also the very little she know about education. Yet she worked so hard for the betterment of her children future. This was affected Curtis and Ben in their academics. And as for Been Carson, infact he was always made a laughing stock in the presence of his classmates. Anytime he was to say anything, he always fumbles.

He was never thought to be great, by his classmates and almost everyone around him including his Elder brother to Curtis Carson. But his mom always encourage and pray for them, assuring them that they'll one day be Great Men in their generation.

So he was forced by his mom to always study his books, including his brother to.

So one day Been Carson saw a rock on the floor picked it up and it looks exactly like the rock he read in the library. He kept on studying more about the rock. And he was so good at it. So in class, he's class teacher asked a question about that same rock he studied.

Been Carson knowing fully well and was so confident at his answers rose up his hands. His classmates thought he was going to say rubbish again and they even say "Oh the Dummy wants to speak" in laughter.

But when he began to answer the questions not just right alone but in details, everyone was so surprised including his teacher. From that day onward he was never called a DUMMY, and that was his turning point in his life.

So years later after his schooling with excellent results. He became the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgeon, Radiatric Neurosurgery at the John Hopkins center in 1984 at age 33 years.

Then the youngest doctor in the United States. He was a Professor of Neurosurgery, Oncology, plastic surgery and Pediatrics at the John Hopkins school of Medicine.

Akinwande Oluwole Babatunde Soyinka, popularly known as Professor Wole Soyinka. Was born in Abeokuta, Nigeria. On 13 July 1934 was the day of his birth.

His father was a priest in the Anglican Church and Principal of a school. While his mom was active within women liberation movement.

In 1954 he attended Government college in Ibadan. He worked in Royal Court theater in London.

But before all his present achievement. Do you know that Prof. Wole Soyinka was once a failure. He wrote his WAEC(West Africa Examination Council) exams several times and it was English language that made him wrote his exams several times.

But still he never let that stop him from getting to the top and achieving his dreams. Despite what people said about him, yet he kept on striving for Success and he later got it. Now he's a Professor in Literature. And won Notable awards: Noble price in literature in 1986. Benson Medal from Royal societies of Literature in 1990.

Academy of Achievement Golden plate award in 2009. And Anisfield wolf Book award Lifetime Achievement in 2012. His Genres are:very Drama, Novel and Poetry.
